Abstract

[en] In the course of a few years, automotive engineering went from an electrical and mechanical discipline to a mix of software and electrical/mechanical. The Automatic Transmission (AT) forms part of this current vehicle evolution towards complex mechatronic machines controlled by embedded control systems. Development processes have had to adapt to this evolution, forcing the companies to use new tools.
One of these new tools is the Model-based design process: its implementation techniques and advantages are discussed in detail throughout this Thesis. The overall goal is to design and validate two modules of an Automatic Transmission software using this new tool.
