Abstract

[en] This Master Thesis intends to allow Belgian companies to adapt their trade strategy to the Russian market in order to improve the efficiency of their business relations. In addition, our Thesis aims to help Belgian businesses to better communicate with their Russian partners and clients, build better relations and thus foster their export activity to Russia.
The theory section first defines the general notion of culture, then looks into the concept of business culture, and finally describes business culture in Russia.
The empirical part is drawn upon a survey conducted on a representative selection of managers from Belgian companies having a certain experience of conducting business in Russia.
The last part of the Thesis attempts to draw parallels between the theory and the practice.
