Abstract

[en] The war for talents in the labor market across Europe is a reality since the nineties and is
becoming more and more significant year after year.
Furthermore in a lot of European countries and especially in Belgium, the available workforce
is not anymore in line with the needs of the work market. Companies and governments have to
face this reality and take the necessary actions to cope with this context.
On top, the expectations of that talented workforce has to be understood and managed through
a concrete “candidate experience” approach, which means an extra and constant effort from the
company to understand, attract and retain those profiles.
Start People, key player in the Belgian temporary staffing business, is facing that reality through
its client’s job offers. The requested profiles are more and more complex and are out of the
original scope of a generalist temporary work company.
This lucrative segment should help Start People to reach the financial objectives imposed by
the Recruit group the company is part of.
Who says different segmentation says different approach. Consequently, Start People has to
develop a specific approach to enter the market and hope to become a well-known actor with a
recognized expertise.
