Abstract

[en] In September, the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg challenged me with a project whose purpose is to optimize the flow of its funds’ management.

At first, the study begins with analysis of the flow and the identification of its current problems.

Then, through this thesis, different options for optimization will be considered. Indeed, it will first cover the consideration for a more restrictive architecture (closed architecture) instead of an open one. Afterwards, the study will take into account the advantages and the disadvantages of a partnership with a fund’s platform for part of the flow. During this step, different platforms (technical, logistical and multi-services) will be examined with for each of them their different characteristics as for examples the covered universe and pricing proposals. Finally, the analysis of offering a differentiated pricing based on criteria for drudgery.

At last, the study concludes with the proposal of the best optimized solution regarding the whole study for the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, which involves the need to outsource part of the flow through a platform and to propose differentiated pricing according to me.
