Abstract
[en] Sub-Saharan Africa faces a lot of challenges and its rural areas are not spared. The need of electrification for daily use is growing but national and on-grid systems are still ineffective in terms of provisions which have called for alternative solutions such as renewable energies(Solar Photovoltaics). Over the years, the trend of development projects have been on a rise on the continent and far from the success story records of foreign development organisation. Many others have not registered the same successes. This study analyses the failure of a rural electrification Project in Cameroon.
