Abstract
[en] Customer satisfaction has become a norm: product quality, on-time delivery and competitive prices are prerequisites for long-term business relationships.
The projects exposed in this thesis aim to advance the issue of non-compliance with deadlines identified in an aeronautical company, Britte-Mustad, by improving its production processes through the DMAIC methodology.
The first project intends to improve the transmission of information on the arrival of workpieces in the various sectors of the workshop. The suggested solution to achieve this goal is the implementation of a table inspired by the Kanban method of the Lean production system. This thesis studies the implementation as well as the problems encountered such as resistance and change management as well as how to deal with them.
The second project aims to improve the protection and identification of workpieces in order to reduce the risk of alteration during the manufacturing process. The considered solution consists in the acquisition of new packaging for the internal transport of workpieces. This thesis presents a comparative study of the solutions proposed by suppliers and describes the steps followed to lead to decision-making.
For the company, both studies must be the beginning of a series of projects following the same approach to achieve concrete results.
