Abstract
[en] The world of project management is a very wide world and is concerning a lot of activities and people.
The influence of the regulatory bodies is very important in some industrial sectors such as chemistry, pharmacy, environment, energy production.
The energy production sector in Belgium was chosen to perform some analysis about the relationship between the project managers and the regulatory bodies in terms of risk analysis concerning their expectations during different phases of a project.
A qualitative method was chosen to compile information and both project managers and regulatory bodies’ representatives were interviewed.
This led to some recommendations addressed to project managers and their management to build a renewed and trustful relationship. The objective of these recommendations is to improve the way the discussions are conducted.
